A classic shaped mid-century Sapele and Mahogany sideboard with added black
accents on the doors

Highly collectable, the Series 7™
chair was designed in 1955 by Arne Jacobsen (Denmark 1902 – 1971) and
manufactured by Fritz Hansen.
This particular chair was made in 1968 and is
marked to the underside. The pressure moulded veneer chair is a further
development of the classic Arne Jacobsen Ant™ chair. Arne Jacobsen is an admired and
outstanding designer and architect and did much for the mid-century modern
movement.
Please note, this chair is in its original
condition and thus has scuffs and scratches on the wood. We can respray this
for you at an additional cost of R550 if desired, but preferred to keep it in
its original condition so that you have a choice.

A beautiful mid-century writing bureau in Teak by Jentique (UK) Jentique Furniture Ltd. Was founded in the 1930s by
the well-known toymaker Geoffrey Bowman Jenkins and his wife Edith, the company
was based in Dereham, Norfolk. The design of Jentique furniture followed
the tastes of the times and the company did particularly well during the 1950s
and 1960s, tapping into the hugely popular Danish inspired design.

A very tall vintage wooden SA Post Office kiosk.
This one apparently came out of an old post office in PE. We have left it in
its original vintage condition, but can repaint it at an additional charge of

A very sweet petite mid-century bedside pedestal in Maple wood.

We had an identical one in a couple of weeks back! A 1970’s vintage chair
manufactured by German based company Olymp who specialised in hair salon
furnishings. It is in excellent condition and is made of made of polished
chrome with a dark vinyl seat and back rest which detach with Velcro. It has
curved armrests and rests on a pedestal base. These chairs can fetch quite a
sum overseas, I have seen them advertised for 650 USD on 1st Dibs
and 750 USD on a different website!
