We have been feeling very nostalgic going through some old photographs! We started off our Vamp adventure in a tumble down school chapel in Woodstock almost 7 years ago. We have an amazing shop which we absolutely love just up the road now, but I still look back on those days with such fondness! #whereitallstarted

These guys seem to fly out of our shop! All those customers waiting for mirrors, come and get them! We have just restocked with all shapes and sizes.

Vamp Mirrors are manufactured using African Mahogany veneered wood as a backing, 3mm mirror (except the large oval which is 4mm) and retro chrome fittings.

Quentin Horn is a Cape Town based artist and freelance Graphic Designer.

After years of throwing away old note books used to-do lists and client briefs, he realised that there were pages full of doodles he had unconsciously drawn while either speaking to someone on the phone, trying to work out the best colour combination for a corporate identity or wondering what to have for dinner.

He took these doodles and digitally manipulated them into these incredible images…

2 small and 2 bigger coloured Häränsilmä Bullseye Tricorn glass bowls designed by Kaj Franck (Finland) in 1956 for Nuutajarvi Notsjo Glassworks

A fairly rare red enamelled mid-century cast-iron ‘Saturnus’ casserole designed by award winning designer Timo Sarpaneva (Finland) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Timo_Sarpaneva

Maker: W. Rosenlew & Co. A/B Finland - produced in the early 1960's.

Makers Mark: impressed in the base, a round circular seal with an R with a crown for Rosenlew.

Small chips on the rim and slight crackling on the inside, but in great overall condition
