Two exceptional mid-century RY-100 modular wall unit systems by iconic and highly acclaimed Danish furniture designer Hans Wegner, manufactured by Ry Møbler (Denmark) in 1957. These cabinets are extremely well built. Each cabinet has two sections, the top section sits on the base and is secured at the back with a metal plate. The bottom section has solid Teak “shoes’ and the inner shelves are solid Beech wood. The drawers are dovetailed and the unique brass handles on the doors are pulled to unlatch the lock mechanism and open the doors. Makers stamp visible on the back. These are true mid-century modern collectors pieces.
