A mid-century studio daybed in solid Oak and Elm. This set was manufactured in South Africa by Lubis and was a copy of the Ercol range. The difference can be seen in the use of a middle leg in the day bed. Still a beautiful set, hard to find and collectable in it’s own right.
Designed to function as a large couch and an occasional single bed for guests, this versatile couch features an attractive steam bent frame consisting of tapered spindles and arched arm rests. The back rest is formed from a large board of Elm.
