This weeks new vintage furniture stock at Vamp - 22 March 2013






A nest of three E Gomme G Plan tables in two tone teak. One large and two smaller ones of the same size which slide underneath. G Plan makers mark  intact. c1960. Excellent condition. 

G-Plan was a pioneering range of furniture in the United Kingdom, produced by E Gomme Ltd of High Wycombe. In 1953, Donald Gomme, the designer at E Gomme, decided to produce a range of modern furniture for the entire house which could be bought piece by piece according to budgets. Designs were available for several years so people could collect them slowly. All furniture was marked with the distinctive brand mark.

Exquisite Mid-Century Teak and Afromosia sideboard. Designer: John Herbert, Maker: Younger Furniture (United Kingdom) Excellent condition. 

Younger made top end furniture for discerning customers during the 1950s, 60s and 70s. Their products were made in low volume, crafted to the highest standard and always on the cutting edge of design.

Mid-20th century extendable bar with Formica top in Teak with blonde wood interior finish. 
Manufacturer: Ilse Möbel, Uslar Germany. Retailer:  The Model Furnishing company. A beautifully crafted piece of furniture.

Trio of OD-61 mid-20th century Danish Teak and Rosewood Barstools.

Designer: Erik Buch. Manufacturer: Oddense Maskinsnedkeri A-S. Designed c1964 in Denmark. Black upholstered shaped seat on four legs, foot rest and arched back stretcher. Makers marks intact as well as Danish Control stamp and a Domus Danica stamp which was the original retailer. Excellent condition.
