A mid-century sideboard in Sapele and Mahogany by high end South African furniture manufacturer DS Vorster. Various DS Vorster makers marks on the sideboard, including the date of manufacture being 22 August 1962.

A mid-century record player stand, now sprayed in red, yellow, grey and cream with a black metal base.

A vintage drafting table. The height is measured when the table top is flat. A makers mark under the top states: British Made, Holbro, Actina, Cape Town

*Green and Cream wool rug – A little faded and a couple of marks, but otherwise good condition 141cm x 190cm
*Pink and cream wool rug. The pink is very faded in parts, but still a pretty colour. 110cm x 190cm 
*Medium Kelim with Maroon border. The maroon has bled ever so slightly into the other colours, probably due to incorrect washing methods and the edges are a little frayed. 117cm x 178cm 
*Small Kelim with greens and browns. Good condition. 75cm x 100cm 
*Small predominantly blue Kelim. Good Condition. 71cm x 100cm 





A petite black and cream restored 1950’s kitchen dresser with the original glass sliding doors and an extendable counter. The makers mark states: Blue Gate Products LTD, A Pride-O-Home unit, Harold Hill, Essex. Please note, this is smaller than the ones we usually have, pay attention to the dimensions, thanks!

A vintage ladies leather jacket in excellent condition. Label reads TEC Leather Goods, Made in Israel 14/42.  It says a size 14 /42, but is more like a SA size 8 - 10

A set of 5 unusual Kartell vintage bins with lids. Manufacturers mark on the underside. Good vintage condition.

A fabulous 60’s chrome floor to ceiling lamp. It has a sprung leg at the bottom and at the top which adjusts to your ceiling height and keeps the light in place. Uses screw in light bulbs. Brought here from Canada. `

A petite retro Saple and Mahogany coffee table and magazine rack with a glass top and brass capped feet. Very small chips in glass. Legs not removable, so for Cape Town delivery only.

A highly collectable antique bentwood stool marked Jacob Joseph Kohn Wien.
In 1849 Jacob Kohn and his son, Josef, of Vienna (Wien), Austria, founded a company that made wooden parts for buildings. The company began making furniture in about 1867 and eventually established factories in several cities. The Kohns manufactured bentwood chairs similar to those made by Thonet. The Kohns’ company merged with Mundus in 1914 and the name became Kohn-Mundus, so this stool was made before 1914. Kohn-Mundus merged with Thonet in 1922.
