A lovely leather pouffe_10 July 2018

These are a few treasures we found in the UK and France that were just too sweet to leave behind.

Leather Pouffe bought at a vide- greniers in the south of France.
Vide-greniers literally means to empty the attic. These are organised by all the little villages and you often see homemade signs along the roads advertising the upcoming dates in the neighbouring villages. Some village folk literally empty their old attics and you can find some very special treasures dating back from who knows when! The sellers set up tables infront of their houses to sell their wares. We came across a lot of modern bric-a-brac, but lots of old beautiful antiques too. We just needed much bigger suitcases to bring it all home in.
