Carbootin' in the UK - Nuthill, Surrey, UK

We're back from 4 exhilarating weeks in Europe and have started sorting through the zillions of photos we took!

We hit the ground running on our return to Cape Town, had a slight panic attack when we realised that Christmas was just around the corner and the holiday had started to feel like a distant memory. Going through all the photos has been a treat, like a mini second holiday!

On day two we hit the carboot sales. It was A M A Z I N G! We have good markets in Cape Town, but the selection there was something else. We tried to be sensible, we really did, but that lasted all of 2 minutes when we threw caution to the wind and shopped till we dropped! Michael headed straight for the dinky cars (he has an ever growing collection) and I went for the West German ceramics. The choice was mind boggling. Thanks to our friend Shaun who is moving back to SA at the end of the year, two boxes will be sailing to Cape Town and hitting Vamp soon!

It's a dogs life. Wished that was me by the end of the day!
